What is the MAXIMUM dose for Local Anesthesia?

How much Local Anesthesia can one give to a lenient? Is it in milliliters? or is it surrounded by milligrams?
usually it's described in milliliters as most local anesthetics come prepared as a 1%, 2%, 5%, etc. So I doubt milligrams would ever be used. you could however achieve a maximum allowable amount of milliliters of any given local anesthetic
using lidocaine the standard maximum dosage is calculated as 5 mg /kg of body weight.
example: 100 kg long-suffering, total max dose 500 mg.
1 cc of 1% has 10 mg
1 cc of 2% have 20 mg
so 50 cc of 1% or 25 cc of 2 %
i agree with the above answers but it also vary with the site where on earth u r giving the l.a and in the procedure for which u r giving it
so plz. do specify!!
drug and health guarantee correctness , is for informational purposes lone
